What better way to tell the world you support the arts than with a TN Arts Commission arts plate. Just take your old plate to your county clerk and swap it – they will prorate your tag fees, so you don’t have to wait until your tag renewal is due.

On Average 80% of TN Art Grants are funded by specialty license plate purchase!

Arts Category Specialty License

  • Are available to all Tennessee residents.

  • Require an annual fee of $35; of that fee a portion is allocated to the Tennessee Arts Commission.

  • For an additional fee of $35 your specialty plate can be personalized between three and seven characters.

Arts in the Burg provides working studio space, open to the public, that nurtures artists, promotes creative placemaking, as well as programming and entertainment to develop a unique travel destination in South Pittsburg, TN.
