5 CLASS SERIES. Choose all dates or attend the classes that best fit you budget and schedule.

You will learn how to handle painting with transparent watercolor using still life objects. Drawing, composition and color theory are included as they are the foundation for making successful paintings. You do not have to have any drawing or painting background to take this class; all are welcome. We will also look at works by national artists to enhance your learning experience. Materials are provided.

Elizabeth Allen bio:

Elizabeth Allen graduated from The University of the South, Sewanee, TN, with a degree in fine arts. She has taught drawing and painting at the Hunter Museum in Chattanooga and in her own home and studio. Elizabeth has studied with artist Jack Beal, Sondra Freckelton, Janet Fish and Mia Bergeron among others. She has had worked exhibited in galleries through Tennessee.
